Why WyEd?

WyEd (Wye Education Consultancy) has a clear vision of the potential for organisations that engage with schools, and has the right skills and experience to deliver major benefits for clients as well as schools.

What's the problem?

Many organisations and businesses haven't yet even considered engaging with schools. But the fact that you are reading this means you might be beginning to realise the potential benefits.

Schools are bombarded with free resources from other companies and organisations who are seeking to get their message across. But many of these materials gather dust in the nation's staffrooms and are never used.

This is because they are usually 'add-ons' to the core planning and resources used by schools. They require teachers to spend time and energy adapting and developing both the resources and their planning. Unfortunately, they are often of poor educational quality and are sometimes seen to be exploitative.

How is WyEd different?

For companies and organisations really wanting to get their messages across, a more intelligent approach is required. Key messages need to be incorporated into the core curriculum rather than as optional add ons. The programme needs to be one of active engagement in schools backed by quality resources of real educational value. Then your engagement in education will reflect the qualities you want to portray.

You need someone with a rare combination of teaching and school leadership with PR and business experience.
